Since 2025, we no longer accept new Fellows: the only access today is to participate as an external guest at one of the off-sites.

Retreat
Three days with the Fellows and a few new guests
Three days where Fellows come together with a few new guests — a maximum of 10 under-25s who are not yet Fellows, selected from those who apply.
Shadowing
Doing things where nobody would trust you
A 5-day full immersion experience in work environments and business functions far from your own interests, where nobody would have trusted you. A training ground for uncertainty: acting in complexity, outside the comfort zone.

Who Makes Aurora Possible
Aurora was born in 2020 following Fondazione Homo Ex Machina (2014), from an idea by entrepreneur Jacopo Mele, who across 6 TEDx talks shared his vision of unconditional trust in new generations, and from the work of his closest friends and partners. It is inspired by stories like those of Nicola, Attilio, Marco, Carlos, Chiara and Jacopo.
Today Aurora is carried forward by a volunteer management team, the same Fellows who, year after year, organize the retreats and guard the spirit of the community.
